..and then printed some 3D cases for the smaller boards

Nice, are these for industrial equipment?
  3. #3
No, the big ones are flashcarts for Atari 800/XL/XE computers (You can store thousands of programs/games on it and it has a menu system to select the one you want).

The little things are controller converters so you can use a Megadrive/Genesis controller on an MSX computer (one of which is slightly pictured)...as controllers for MSX computers are thin on the ground and those that are available are generally a bag of shit.

I'll be 3d printing boxes for the flashcarts but it's going to take 14hrs to print 5 of them so that will have to wait till next weekend...I don't like leaving the printer running unattended due to possible home burning down issues.

Not much, the solder iron was like $35 off Amazon, the solder roll was "borrowed" from work, the LED light (you can just see the base) was $10 from Value village, the table is a foldable picnic table, $25 or there about's from Aldi I think a few years ago. The circuit board workstation was sub $10 off Temu or Aliexpress...don't remember which.

The handsome guy taking the pic...PRICELESS.

Old 80s computers..."MSX" was a computer standard before the IBM PC standard came popular.
