    Alaska - 55 miles from Russia...CHECK
    Russian Jet has a range which could take off from Russian airbase and hit Alaska - CHECK
    KH-31 air to ground missile (mach 3.5) has an operating range of up to 38 nautical miles - CHECK
    Therefore a Russian Jet could theoritically conduct a jetstrike on the US without ever entering US airspace - CHECK.

    Anchorage/Elmendorf is only target in Alaska worth risking war with the US over dumbass.

    I never claimed it wasn't in range. Hell DC is within range. The point is they have never abd will never try it. The response would be just like everytime they flirted with US airspace fir the last 70 years.

    SNL played off the statement "Home Town" to that of "My Home" and got a laugh. She said both " On a clear day I can See Russia from My Backyard" and then another town during the campaign trail stated "From My Home Town" which clearly wasn't true but stating that Russia was seriously close and there should be a heavier defense?

    I thought she lived on the most western coast of Alaska which would be somewhat true on a clear day. she could make out both Islands with the furthest one being owned by Russia. I didn't know if there was a large town or city located on western Alaska that she was from. I knew nothing of her but I saw the video where she stated 'from My own backyard on a clear day'

    But it wasn't a made up blanketed sketch by SNL. they played off of HomeTown. they got a laugh. why are you so stuck in Go mode on this?
