The olympics were then and is now still utterly decadent and extremely depraved.

2021-08-03 at 5:23 PM UTChow can anyone watch it in these woke era of ours and yet not feel the temperature of their blood rises. wheres equity when more priviledged "atheletes" were given silver and gold coated silber while underpriviledged atheletes received only bronze, a metal which isnt even elementally pure.
bronze is a bastard of coper and zinc.
but whats worse that, in fact the worst aspect of the game is that it reaffirms the existence of race, and not just as a social construct, but set-in-stone, solid, biological construct.
every game that required superior, lightning quick reflexes and precision movements are dominated by white asians.
every, one, of, them.
and on the far opposite end of the spectrum, in beast-of-burden-tier sports, such as running, running very far, and running very fast, we see beasts with 60% human content dominate.
i dont know of any single person, online or off, who is capable of thinking who do not come to the conclusion that rasse is real just like species is real and is an undeniable biological construct after having watched the entire game. or a majority of it.
olympics isnt equitable and it breeds race realism. olympics is nothing but a game concocted by white men to demonstrate their white supremacy according to their white cultural values and traditions, AS A MEAN TO APPEASE THEIR VERY WHITE GOD. its a game made by the whites, for the whites, and to nothing and no one else other than the whites.
it belongs in history and is absolutely incompatible with our current, diversity filled society.
sig hell. -

american american buffet scarred the shit out of me. everything was big.
the forks were big, the spoons were big, the plates were big. how is a civilized human suppose to eat out of a 12 inch plate with spoons that could barely fit into his mouth. -

2024-07-27 at 4:22 PM UTCI haven't watched an opening olympic ceremony since I was a small child. It's not like this shit is free on youtube which it should be if this is some world hand holding display of athleticism and not politics or advertising.
But no, it's actually just another part of the billion dollar televised sports economy and really nothing special at all. I haven't had cable since the 2010's.
I do enjoy some of the actual events and competitive displays and women being strong and athletes taking place in displays of their skill and training. But unless you are specifically into these sports then I think the Olympics has generally lost it's mainstream appeal
and the idea that these were the ancient games of democracy or whatever is just stupid. This shit was dead for 99% of human history and only revived very recently under auspicious reasonsRevival
Evangelos Zappas, co-founder of the International Olympic Committee
Greek interest in reviving the Olympic Games began with the Greek War of Independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1821. It was first proposed by poet and newspaper editor Panagiotis Soutsos in his poem "Dialogue of the Dead", published in 1833.[42] Evangelos Zappas, a wealthy Greek-Romanian philanthropist, first wrote to King Otto of Greece, in 1856, offering to fund a permanent revival of the Olympic Games.[43] Zappas sponsored the first Olympic Games in 1859, which was held in an Athens city square. Athletes participated from Greece and the Ottoman Empire. Zappas funded the restoration of the ancient Panathenaic Stadium so that it could host all future Olympic Games.[43]
The stadium hosted Olympics in 1870 and 1875.[44] Thirty thousand spectators attended that Games in 1870, though no official attendance records are available for the 1875 Games.[45] In 1890, after attending the Olympian Games of the Wenlock Olympian Society, Baron Pierre de Coubertin was inspired to found the International Olympic Committee (IOC).[46] Coubertin built on the ideas and work of Brookes and Zappas with the aim of establishing internationally rotating Olympic Games that would occur every four years.[46] He presented these ideas during the first Olympic Congress of the newly created International Olympic Committee. This meeting was held from 16 to 23 June 1894, at the University of Paris. On the last day of the Congress, it was decided that the first Olympic Games to come under the auspices of the IOC would take place in Athens in 1896.[47] The IOC elected the Greek writer Demetrius Vikelas as its first president.
But the olympics do exist on the merits of profitability, Cities bid millions for even a chance to become the next host city. The entire thing is very capitalistic in nature, and socialists nations want to take part in it just like everyone else. -
