did it have acoustic foam in it? if you ever step into a fully acoustic room it's surreal. you hear the vibration in your ear drums like you're having a stroke. often people will have severe panic attacks. takes a pro to go in one and perform
of course I had one but I also hear (or used to) tones most people can't hear. -

its a real thing. if you're in a S.I.E. (sound isolated enclosures) about 90 percent of the people will have mild to severe panic attacks the first time. they also use them to train pilots and astronauts in Hypoxia test with the same kind of S.I.E. paneling.
they use them to isolate tracks during recordings for each band members when making albums. not all albums are recorded in them. -
