Are CB Radios still a thing?

   Does anyone have one and do Truckers still use it.
   
   Channel 9 was reserved for emergencies. I remember as a kid getting screamed at by police to get the fuck off the channel.

   I understand they make hand held HAM radios so its just a CB but with a million radio frequencies instead

   I got it like three or four years ago. It needs to be wired into the fusebox of the car and I never felt like figuring out how to do it.

   Get a rechargeable power bank and rig it to a USB chord. dont bother draining the car's battery. just cut a US chord and do it that way. simple. connect speakers to it or better yet a Bluetooth broadcaster and connect it to the cars Bluetooth
