   President Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday and is experiencing mild symptoms, according to the White House.
   
   Biden, 81, tested positive following his first event in Las Vegas, where he was expected to later speak at the UnidosUS annual conference. The president’s doctor said Biden has received his first dose of the antiviral drug Paxlovid, and will be self-isolating at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, in line with US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance.

   It's worrying that he caught covid, but I understand he is vaxxed and boosted so his symptoms are mild.
   
   This serves as a timely reminder that this terrible disease is still with us, and that the best way you can protect yourself and your loved ones is by getting vaccinated and having regular booster shots, as well as practicing appropriate social distancing and wearing a mask when in public.

    I did. I work w it literally everyday without proper PPE. How embarrassing our president can’t manage it properly & needs a break but healthcare workers have to take pto if they are positive. IF that’s even possible. What a joke

    bunch of people are reporting there's a big internal push to get him to step down in favour of Kamala at the moment, this might be the excuse they're going to use rather than outright saying he's too old and insane for the job
