Seriously, why would a potato be in commercials? Whom is his talent agent? An Idaho farmer?

People think it's suspicious that he's in a blackrock commercial but i'm more suspicious about why a commercial needs a potato head. That just makes no sense. WHY!!!

    Background Extras in Commercials:
Why a Potato Head Makes Sense: Background extras are chosen to create a realistic and relatable setting. The main focus is on authenticity rather than appearance. In a classroom setting, students come in all shapes and sizes, and using real students, including those with diverse appearances, enhances the ad's realism.

    Appearance in Advertisements:
Why a Potato Head Makes Sense: Background extras are not the focal point of the commercial. Their role is to fill the scene naturally without drawing attention away from the main message or the primary actors. Crooks, or any student with a distinctive appearance, would simply be part of the background, contributing to the overall authenticity without being a distraction.

    Conspiracy Theories:
Why a Potato Head Makes Sense: Conspiracy theories often arise from attempts to find hidden meanings or connections where none exist. The selection of students for the ad was likely random or based on availability. The physical appearance of a background extra, such as having a "potato head," would not have been a significant factor in a conspiracy. The reality is that a wide range of appearances is normal in any group of real people.

    Real People in Ads:
Why a Potato Head Makes Sense: Using real people, including those with less conventional looks, makes the ad more relatable and genuine. Ads that feature a diverse array of individuals are more likely to connect with a broader audience. In a real classroom, students vary in appearance, so including someone like Crooks would help reflect that diversity and authenticity.

In summary, the inclusion of someone with a distinctive appearance, such as having a "potato head," makes no sense because it goes against the goals of creating unrealistic, unrelatable, and less genuine advertisements that only feature people who meet conventional beauty standards. This approach ensures the audience cannot connect with the ad's message by reflecting an artificial and homogeneous view of everyday settings.

According to the almighty machine spirits, Blackrock hired a general consensus of students for filming that particular commercial which makes sense why it would feature a potato head in the background as most classrooms have "that one kid" who is usually a potato head.
