Chinese Phones

   I read recently that the reason you don't see many Chinese phones sold by service providers is the US government threatens them with not giving them contracts lol. Ig that looks better than an outright ban and having Trudeau lock up the head of the company like Huawei. I have seen ZTE and TCL. Blu I think is another one but these are all budget phones.
   
   I wonder how much of their "security concerns" is that they can't spy on them as well as Samsung or Apple. I think Pegasus was mostly a team effort with WhatsApp and Apple. Idk how much it affected Android but on Apple it was a no click thing. I have noticed researching phones that most Chinese phones use Mediatek chipsets and other Androids use Snapdragon. Idk if that would make a difference.
   
   Then I wonder how much of it is American industry not being able to compete. The better phones like Huawei and Xiaomi are supposed to be competitors with I Phones for much less money.
   
   I had an I phone and hated it. Wtf would you pay more for a phone that doesn't have a headphone jack or expandable memory? The fact that they get people to is impressive on their part. There was nothing special about it. People just kept saying I needed to get one. I sure as fuck didn't pay $5000 for one but I still felt cheated. Never mind they probably forward all your pictures to the FBI.

   All of them? That's what I was asking about the doogee but if it's really waterproof wouldn't it need seals on the headphone jack and charger?

   The Readme is a pretty good brand. but many of them don't work on American 5G
   
   The problem is what kind of data mining are they doing for the CCP. but the phones have good cameras on them. but then again, who does your pictures get shared with?

   yeah it's kinda dumb that all these western capitalist countries, mine included have all kinds of technology import trade restrictions against a communist country and i'm just like.... what makes us any different? If we aren't willing to trade with someone for ideological reasons how is that any different from China?
   
   Also they don't spy on anyone and anyone that sAYs they do needs to take their meds and wake the fuck up, the NSA spies on everybody already so who the fuck cares if tiktok watches your kids. Maybe you should stop trying to be Ipad parents and china wont need to raise your kids for you
