   Do you not understand that those are not diaries, they are correspondence between myself and the other parties who are now deceased? As the sole remaining living half of the correspondence I have full disclosure on what to do with them. I have full ownership and can decide to publicize them or keep them private. They are my full 100% property to do with as I wish. Dead people cannot own things in our physical world, because they don't exist in it anymore.

    If you had a good day out or interaction of some kind with somebody who then died, can you never tell anyone about anything you two did that day because you'd be breaching some phantom rights of the dead person? Would you be forbidden from telling another person something they told you while alive?
