Folks this could be either
-a series of nuclear explosions affecting your nearest major cities
-a pandemic that actually kills a good chunk of people leading to the collapse of society
-an alien invasion (Not Mxicans but real aliens)
- extremely natural disaster
Folks I don't. I always figured I'd be alright. I'm a tall white guy who listens when spoken to and figured if they're killing everybody I'm probably fucked too. I do keep a bottle of bleach, a bottle of rubbing alcohol, and a case of water with me everywhere I live. Mostly for water purification, wound cleaning and obviously drinking. I live in southern Florida where they recommend this for hurricanes. I also have 2 flash lights, 1 I keep with batteries in it and 1 I keep brand new with the batteries separated in two plastic bags.
That's about it. My fatass is kinda strong enough to go like 7-10 days with no food, so I don't really worry about that. Just water and when the water runs out purifying water. Also the flashlights are so I can see my little dick in the dark for masturbatory purposes and looting homes if society does break down.
Overall I don't think this shits gonna happen I mean ya maybe ea hurricane that lasts 2-3 days that's what I'm prepared for but I don't think society is actually gonna collapse, martial law, like some bad sci Fi movies. I hope it does because I can think a lot of people I don't like who would not survive.

My preparations involve buying land in a rural area, I've been looking for the perfect plot here in Tejas for the last few years and found it and purchased it about 18 months ago..however that sale then fell through and had to be "canceled" because the title turned out to be fraudulent and the survey didn't reveal there were restrictions on the property that prevented installation of a well and septic system.
Now with me moving up to Kansas soon that plan will once again be in place up there once I get settled in...rural land in Kansas should also be cheaper and more readily available.
Once the compound is purchased, veggies and lifestock will be put in place, solar and wind power, Tornado/nuclear shelter installed and a local dumb rural chick shall be obtained for general dogsbody work and fucking.
I hope to have everything in place by 2028.
