Removing carbon from Earth's atmosphere may not 'fix' climate change

The study results suggest that the local climate in these areas would not return to normal for more than 200 years after the carbon dioxide concentrations drop.

Ya but if they don't it's gonna get worse.

It may not dramatically imrprove but these emissions weren't over night, the industrial revolution was 200 years ago it makes sense that to get the atmosphere unfucked up it would take awhile.

It's a lot faster to get molested than to work through therapy to get unmolested.

Climate is dynamic, there is no "normal".

"The climate system is dynamic, and its behavior is irregular, making it hard to anticipate the full severity of anthropogenic effects on climate. Creating climate models that accurately predict these changes demands a comprehensive understanding of the physical, biological, and chemical processes on Earth."

it's real because the climate always changes

the real question is how much human activity contributes to it, and it's not really something we can accurately calculate when we only have partial climate information going back 20,000 years for a 6,000,000,000+ year old planet

    not really.

the nature of climate is ever changing and has always been and therefore what we preceived to be "climate change" is really just different phases of our climate we experience in our limited existence.

only when the climate stop changing can it be said that the climate has changed.
