You didn't say "directly"...you've just added that bit in a lame effort to change your narrative.
No they've never themselves taken down a website down "DIRECTLY". They've taken down many websites "INDIRECTLY" by threatening legal action...as the few I listed...that's still taking down a website genius.
You're a poor excuse for a transsexual when you can't admit you were wrong.
This is not news at all to anyone with even a cursory knowledge of Nintendo's history. They've been doing this shit since before you were potty trained. -
2024-06-10 at 6:02 PM UTCThe good news is Torrents are pretty unstoppable especially on private trackers. Only a fucking noob would rely on websites for roms anyway.
(and only a fucking noob wouldn't have complete rom collections already) -
2024-06-10 at 6:05 PM UTCThey haven't taken down any sites, ever. as far as I can tell.
vhttps://www.reddit.com/r/dfinity/comments/r3e2cr/new_use_for_canisters_emulated_n64_games/DFINITY Foundation was contacted on December 6, 2021 by a node provider who received a notice of infringement of copyrighted materials from Nintendo Co., Ltd. asking to remove the Super Mario 64 emulator that was deployed to canister smart contract culg2-qyaaa-aaaai-qa7sa-cai by controller u4u53-bhmqg-vc4mk-abm2u-mo6kz-jptpk-icn6i-gpkve-5b57m-m4cn5-jqe on November 27, 2021 (details on ic.rocks here 64). This poses a new question for the Internet Computer community regarding copyrighted content in canisters hosted on the Internet Computer blockchain and is an opportunity to learn how situations like this can be handled by neuron holders of the Internet Computer via the NNS.
So it was Copyright violation after all, just like I said.

they will take down youtube videos because that's easy when you're a company but they don't have to ever take down a site because they comply and remove Nintendo content 100% of the time -

They are gonna crack down on those next and make it illegal for anyone to put a tracker to anything copyright on the internet and you are gonna have to go to underground places and private forums to find them -
2024-06-10 at 6:39 PM UTCNintendo actually makes this easy for us. By making access to their games pushed to the corner against it's back that just means there are only a handful of places one would need to attack in order to permanently destroy all NintendoTM content from the internet forever.
Spread a few malicious torrents on the few trackers that survive the upcoming onslaught. I would also like to develop old fashioned "viruses" like things that destroy boot sectors and such so that if anyone tries to run any compromised file on real hardware it would destroy their systems and overclock the chipset so it fries itself
Thank you Nintendo for being so strict and policing your content making it trivial for a decentralized attack to destroy you forever

2024-06-11 at 1:53 AM UTCWait I thought you meant crystal chronicles. I played crystal clear it's the best hack for sure but I felt the late game didn't offer much replayability
Gen 2 isnt very robust -

I didn't get very far last time I played, I never really get that far in Pokémon...
But I prefer Gen 1 and 2 for the nostalgia. There's too many damn Pokémon now. -
2024-06-11 at 2:47 AM UTCYeah, I have very little love for anything past the 3rd-4th Gen. It all just seems like gimmicks to me now and adding the fairy type is just useless. Mechanically speaking Pokemon has very little to offer anymore. They have failed to do anything.
The most hardcore competitive community I see that actually cares about the mechanics seems to only play online battle sims and have completely given up on the idea of physical in person tournament even non hosted community ones, the hardware limitations and pay to win aspect of the franchise just make it impossible for anyone to access, it's a truly dying scene
https://pokemonshowdown.com/
it's pretty sad because the mechanics of the game obviously have wide appeal and they just treat it like a cash cow, like NFL Games or Call of Duty.
I think Digimon holds up the test of time much better and has never changed their core mechanics ever and are still pretty popular in Japan with a quite large underground scene and the hardware is very hackable which people nowadays find much cooler than locked pokemon where you need to transfer it inbetween games. Digimon has shit like being able to turn a 90s physical digimon on a device and scan it into a computer modern game

Overview
Poliwrath really isn't that good of a Pokemon. One of his main problems is his typing. While Water and Fighting are both good attacking types, Poliwrath's attacking stats leave something to be desired; in addition, in both the UU and OU metagame there are just a ton of common attacks that will counter him. His stats are actually even all around, but therein lies the problem; he isn't quite good enough at anything in particular to be of much use. In a UU arena dominated by Pokemon like Lapras and Clefable, he could be potent with STAB on Fighting moves, but he has nary a chance to make an impact on the OU metagame.Slowbro is one of the most powerful Pokemon in GSC UU. Its bulk and typing allow it to switch in and sponge attacks, while its base 100 Special Attack means that it can fire off powerful hits too. Access to Thunder Wave limits what even Pokemon with super effective moves can safely do against it. These factors mean that Slowbro can both offensively and defensively check many of the Pokemon in GSC UU. It can stick around for a long time with Rest and Sleep Talk, which allow its presence to be felt for most of the games that it is used in while also being able to absorb status-inducing moves for its teammates. When constructing teams and while playing games, one must always consider how to threaten an opposing Slowbro.
Slowking can take on a significant portion of the metagame one-on-one with this set. While it doesn't take physical hits fantastically unlike its main competition, Slowbro, Slowking can somewhat make up for this with its ability to take powerful special attacks, such as Thunder from Mr. Mime and Haunter, and retaliate with debilitating paralysis. This increased ability to take risks with the opponent's special and mixed attackers makes Slowking less predictable than Slowbro and makes it more effective at using Thunder Wave against the dangerous special attackers in the tier. Slowking's STAB attacks provide excellent coverage; should Slowking use both Surf and Psychic, the only Pokemon that resist both attacks are Slowbro and Slowking. However, as Slowking often has Thunder Wave, it will often drop a STAB attack. RestTalk allows Slowking to remain healthy and threaten physical attackers that may be eager to come in and hit it on its weaker side while it is asleep. This combination also makes it one of the tier's best status absorbers. If Slowking reveals dual STAB attacks, it is more likely to see Scyther switching in on an anticipated Rest turn, since without Thunder Wave, the worst that can happen is taking a hit. If Slowking has Thunder Wave, Scyther is taking a much greater risk switching in, but Pokemon like Qwilfish will switch in if it lacks Psychic, and Ground- and Psychic-types like Sandslash and Girafarig become far more dangerous without Surf. Sleep Talk can be dropped to run both STAB attacks alongside Thunder Wave, but this decreases Slowking's flexibility and resilience.
