Hyperbolic metaphor isn't how science works, but it is how propaganda works. 🫡

Life IS suffering...life is a struggle, it's not meant to be comfortable. The Sushi can get used to it or fuck the shut up.

If you wanted to "debunk" (aaah don't stop me I'm deboooonking) this, that graph from the article is worth playing with.

    (1) There's only 2.5 or 3 degrees or so range. Not massive.
    (2) The previous peak was in 1990.
    (3) The temperature in 2023 was 1°C below what it was in 2024.

It's great to see complex data objects being embedded in media articles btw. And while I'm sure a clever statistical analysis would show a warming trend, for me climate change as raising temperatures is a bit of a forced narrative.

Temperatures will rise slightly globally, but the problem is mostly notable in terms of sea-level rise (we can expect that to accelerate too), ocean acidification, and increased CO2 concentration affecting human biochemistry and mental function.

And at least half of the temperature rise is due to increased water vapour in the atmosphere as a result of human activity.

To a mindless automaton, there is no choice, only programming.
