   I see angry feminists coming out with that nonsense all the time. Human relationships tend to be conditional and require effort and constant demonstration of value by both parties. They argue that because of this, because relationships are conditional, men are evil.
   
   GG is similar, she just wants to be loved unconditionally. Basically wants her relationship with her father back, because that sort of relationship is exclusively the parent/child relationship.
   
   Only your parents and Jesus will ever love you completely and unconditionally. For everyone else, love is conditional.

   This actually is the main thing that bothers me about Kafka, she is always ready with a rejection/insult.

    I stopped caring about who does and doesn't claim to be my friend a long time ago.
    
    Friendship is a casual thing. When I got cancer most of my friends abandoned me. I've heard and seen the same thing a lot. People are self-interested. Which is exactly what you expect.
    
    Friends will never be a substitute for parental love.
    
    In this life, Jesus is your only forever friend.
