2017-06-17 at 2:30 AM UTCI'm sorry.
I didn't know we couldn't shitpost to eachother anymore. I'm cool, though. No hard feelings. -
2017-06-17 at 2:34 AM UTCYour generalization regarding all criminals was still a bad stance to take because generalization is always wrong.

2017-06-17 at 2:34 AM UTCYeah but you're being really weird, lol. Ever since I made a joke about your crush getting dicked by someone else, you've been acting really strange and edgy.
-
2017-06-17 at 2:37 AM UTCNow you're twisting shit. I actually remember what caused you to be all akward and it was the high five you let me down on and retroactively reached out just to be let down by me.
I think I clapped, though. We are still cool. -

Yes, generalisation is always inaccurate. Not sure why you think it's categorically "bad" though; making the general statement "cats eat mice" doesn't hold true for all cats, some cats have never even seen a mouse, or wouldn't hurt one even if they did (mine are an example of this) but it's still considered a true statement because it's regarded as a statement on the broad nature of cats. It's kind of silly to bring up rare special cases unless you're willing to stake the claim that these indicate that it's not generally true. -
2017-06-17 at 2:49 AM UTCYou yourself are the outlier when it comes to posters on this website.
"NIS posters are hard drug users". That statement is obviously not true, proven by you posting here but the generalization could still be made because it is true when it comes to the overwhelming majority of NIS posters. Because generalization is always wrong and does not represent the full truth, I consider it a bad stance to take in general.

The statement is very true in general. Why do you find it to be a bad stance in general? There are [g]generally no hard absolutes in anything in real life. Generalizations are very useful in general and it is fair to dispute them only if they're specifically not applicable in the general case for a given subject, otherwise you are generally just being pedantic, and the the conversation generally becomes very cumbersome if there are never any generalizations used, with exceptions generally left implicit. -

2017-06-17 at 12:54 PM UTCAdditionally, only retards bring quotes as some kind of evidence. That's another useful generalisation.
