My boy is in wisconsin prison right now doing a 5 piece and he said he was on work detail (a fucking minimum camp) and someone stabbed someone else with an antenna they busted off someone and they stabbed the guys when they were in line and he stabbed the guy so fucking hard that the point went through the first guy into the guy Infront of him LOL Like a double stabbing with 1 point, 1 jab.

In my hood you have to pay a tax when you go to jail. You are expected to stick drugs up your ass and give them to someone inside who will ask you for them as soon as you get there. If you don't have them, you get beat up as a lesson to know next time you go there you have to bring drugs.
It's a pretty psychotic system but it ensures frequent visitors will bring drugs in to avoid the beating

a lot of times one of the higher ranking guys will be an informant and they will turn a blind eye to everything he's doing (drugs, enforcement, shakedowns) if he tells them information about anything that's going to happen that's important to their safety and security (assault on guards, escapes) or serious that happened to other inmates (murder).
So you might have a higher up whose involved in all the drugs and extorting people like sex offenders and running illegal gambling operations, running a gang, etc. But anytime someones gonna escape or someone gets killed he tells on who did it so they keep him in his position and ignore what he does.

Not me, I loved that shit! Yeah it was kinda sucky being in that positiona t the time. But bro I was in good shape, I had a bunch of friends to hang out with, I did sports, I had a good job making more than other people, I improved relationships with my family, I made a couple life long friends, I studied my religion extensively, I read so many books, got into TV shows, learned how to cook with shit for ingredients and learned how to fight really well.
I enjoyed it that experience.
The second time when Iwe n't to the retard center, bro I had fucking fun, no bullshit, I gained so much mass, ate so good, had hobbies, learned about myself as a person, made friends that were not life long, did recreational sports, got into yoga, healed my body physically and my mind mentally, got over the worst thing that ever happened to me, came out as a homosexual, and like felt better about everything in my life mentally and became a stable person.
some people be like no I hated it I sat in my cell scared and watched TV and ate ramen noodles and got fat and tried to avoid talking to anyone and sat lonely style in my little caveman cave and tried to never come out and hide under the covers until it was over

as an adult who has been out of prison for 8 years (October 2016) I really do my best to not live in this institutionalized mindset. It's very easy for people who had the experience I had to continue living life in and out of the prison system. So I try not to think about "the old days" and the "good times" I had in the joint because it makes me much more likely to go back.
Florida is apparently way worse than Wisconsin and I know damn well I'd be fucking fine here too bro, anywhere in California Wisconsin Florida I be fine you know why?
