You definitely didn't smoke it right. It's very common for those that don't use the proper pipe. Building "The Machine" is really simple and easy, everyone who uses DMT should make one.
DMT is definitely weird as hell. It'll probably be the strangest drug you ever use.
It's really hard for most people to remember, including me, although if you use it enough times you may be able to bring back pieces and recall the general process of the trip. It isn't frightening to me once I'm actually coming up rapidly, although the initial stage is definitely visually intense.
Every time it was like, "Woah, of course, this is what happens. It feels so familiar once you're in here again. How could I forget?". Not sure I can describe it. Very alien. And I'm not even talking about what happens if you breakthrough.

I took like 70mg of 4-aco-DMT last night though. I've been doing psychedelics 2-3 times a month for the last 4 or 5 months or so. Extensive enough? Nothing to fear from psychedelics. Every trip is a learning experience, even the ones where you feel like you're dying in a cheap Mexican clinic.

You're really missing out, a proper trip could be one of the most incredible and meaningful experiences of your life. It's so far from anything you could experience in ordinary reality. When I ate the pot gummy, I had a legit trip, like I was seeing shit, and it was very enjoyable and insightful and amazing on its own, I'm sure LSD or DMT or shrooms would be like 1000x more insane than that. But again, I don't feel the active need to get on it.

I have often, while tripping, had realizations of where I've been going wrong with something or realized certain behaviours are pointless habits that I've somehow slipped into for some daft reason or other.

Trust me, I know a little. That cheap Mexican clinic trip I puked all over my floor and felt like every inch of my body was being pierced by millions of needles. The word that kept coming to mind was EXCORIATED. I didn't even know what it meant, but I was convinced I was being EXCORIATED. Looked up the definition afterwards and it was accurate af. I remember after I puked all over the floor I remember thinking that that was basically me, a pile of fucking puke, and I was convinced that I shouldn't be permitted to exist. That I was as disgusting as that puke. After that trip I realized that out of all the possible realities and experiences we are all fucking BLESSED to be experiencing this one. There was some Event Horizon shit going on in my mind.
