Anyone with a .edu email adress willing to help a nigga' out(Nothing nefarious)

2017-06-15 at 11:51 PM UTCSo a while ago Shodan had this initiative with which they would provide students a free premium account upgrade as long as a user would send an email from a .edu domain to support@shodan.io requesting that am existing account be upgraded to premium. The .edu email would serve as proof to the claim's legitimacy. Not sure if it still works like that but if it does i would appreciate any help you could provide. Also i will share my premium API key with you in return if i end up acquiring one. post ITT or send em a PM for details should you desire.

Not really, i was trying to be nefarious before by checking dumps for hacked .edu email accounts so i could log into them and do it myself but a lot of the records i could find were old and not working anymore. And teh ones who were new had already been secured again. This is why i just need someone with a .edu address to send an email on my behalf so that i can get a premium account. After which i will share the Premium API key with the person who has helped me should they desire. -

2017-06-16 at 12:55 AM UTCYou should just buy an edu account for like $2 or less. It's what I did to get the student discount on Amazon Prime (great deal). It's useful to have available.

The thing is i already have a developers key but it's the free version. In order to get more results and a complete data set on search items and have access to some other interesting features i would like to have a premium account.
