There are only a few feasible places to eat out at when you are poor/homeless.
McDonald's: If you want to eat here, you need the app. There is usually a BOGO deal, I get 2 double cheeseburgers for 3.19$. If you order water on the kiosks, they will just give you an empty cup. Fill it with whatever you like.
Burger King: This is the most expensive of the 3, but there is dollar menu. You can get a 2$ burger/ chicken sandwhich, also use the app here.
Taco Bell: This place has the best dollar menu of the 3. If you need raw calories, it's the place to go. Literally take all of the hot sauce, it is great for flavoring all sorts of things.

Done that more times than I can count, I never used a cart I just used shopping bags, I would buy a couple stuff then make a second really quick run around the store and dip tf out.
