Yesterday my gf and I were tripping on ald-52/al-lad and went to the park. We were gonna go over by one of these huge trees that like twists into the ground in the center of the park, so we started walking towards it. But when we were still pretty far away, I saw this dude who looked straight up terrifying come up from between the folds of the trees. We were still pretty far away, and I was tripping pretty hard so I was pretty sure he just looked extra gruesome/scary because of the drugs, but regardless, I changed our direction and we wandered around for a bit but then like 10 minutes later I forgot all about him and the tree lured us back.
When we went back over by the tree we were hanging out by this fence and I saw him again. He came out from behind the tree and walked by us, and gave me a look as he passed. He was clearly a transient and was completely covered in various tattoos, including the face, except for a clean strip down the middle of his face that was left bare skin. I guess he had been sleeping in a makeshift hammock by the tree or something.
Anyways, it got me wondering. I've hung out with some pretty shady people and can even be comfortable around super shady people, but I would have no idea how to act around someone like that. I mean I guess I'd just act normal but I just don't know anyone like that, and I've hung out with gang members with face tats before but this guy was just nuts.
Obviously getting your face covered in tattoos is a very bold "fuck the system", but to permanently disfigure yourself in such a way that basically says that you desire absolutely nothing that society or the vast majority of other humans could possibly have to offer you is a whole nother level. You pretty much can't even go to the goddamn grocery store because people are going to call the cops and immediately suspect you of doing something illegal no matter what. You'd have to obtain everything through illegal means, give up on ever finding a wife and living comfortably, sleep outside and in parks forever, and just in general spend your life doing shady shit I guess.
But anyways does anyone know anything about transients like this? Like I said I've hung out with all sorts of scum and tweakers and people with no moral compass, but I just don't know when I see someone like that. I think they could be some member of the family that just moves/produces hella lsd and molly, or just a total nihilist that actually hates everyone, or some human smuggler or some shit. Idk. Anyone got any ideas?
^that guy sounds cool. I've been to jail a lot so I've met a lot of people with face tats and shit, I have several tattoos but I personally would never get any on my face. I don't have those kind of hang ups. theres people that don't have tattoos that are even more strange than that guy I'm sure. There's a tattoo artist that works down the street from me, and yes he is very different, and you do get a sense that in general he is very hardcore about hating societal norms, he's very quiet and very serious, but at the same time he's not a pussy and obviously doesn't care what anyone thinks, and does his own thing is and more genuine than most people so I can respect that.
Even the guy that owns the tattoo shop says he doesn't like that the guy has face tats.. But to each their own, I'm an obscure person myself but in different ways.
Theres a manager at the walmart down the street from me that has his face covered in tattoos... so obviously you can walk into the grocery store without someone calling the cops on you.. atleast here, I'm not sure where you live..
Theres a guy here in austin, that is completely covered in tattoos to make himself look like a liserd and he has a wife, that's a liserd woman... He's not a transient though...

You should be a little more open minded. Some of you guys without tattoos, who look "normal" will probably never even get laid.. theres all different kind of people out there.
I get along with people like that very well. I'd like to get tattoos of drug molecules like Meth and LSD for jail purposes. My old hash/BHO/bulk weed dealer/grower that was also the husband of my manager at the hydroponic grow store I worked at kinda looked like this. My job was to discreetly load vans with lights and chemicals. The dude is the biggest weed grower, almost big enough to go legal. I know this because I loaded 20 large carbon air enhancements into a van once.
