I mean I really have no love for the company but I honestly can't read a tech article or post in an HN thread anymore without someone loudly taking a shit on uber or one of their employees while I have yet to see someone attack Lyft specifically. I'm usually highly skeptical of "media conspiracies" but the uber case just seems so monotonic and unrelenting. Like if it was genuine you'd think it would wash out after a few news cycles but it's been going steady for like nearly a year.
I don't know, am I crazy here or does anyone else get the same impression?

No, but I don't read many tech articles or post in HN threads whatever those are.

No, it's social dynamics, aspects of human psychology. This is a pattern I recognized and began to reflect on a long time ago. I can't be arsed to elaborate and need to wait for this cannabis to wear off.

I think it might be law firms who prosecute cases of personal injury relating to the solicitation of Uber services.

Maybe lyft just has a better employee screening process? I mean uber just kinda started the sit taco service service so lyft probably just learned from uber fuckups.

I've actually had this theory. They're trying REAL hard to bring Uber down.
Too bad. Someone call me when anyone else makes a better product, until then they have my business. In the middle East, they have Careem and it is legit a better product, so I just use that when I'm there.
