Calm down fam. Do you have an onboard(On the motherboard) sound card or are you using an external one?(One you plug in to the motherboard) Are all your drivers up to date? Do you have a special program for the settings on your sound card? Is it connected via USB or audio jack? Sometimes you have multiple audio ports, in that case try different ones and see what happens. Regardless, it's a good idea to keep your drivers up to date anyway.

Drivers are all up to date. Everything is perfect I think. I've been fucking around with this for at least 6 hours.

Download one where you are hiking around some mountains by yourself and you accidentally take a tumble and break both of your ankles so you're forced into a survival scenario but of course you were well off the beaten path so nobody is going to find you or see you or notice you except for the bears and the mountain lions and the wild Indians living in the trees and you have to set traps and build a shelter and find clean drinking water etc etc but after the first few nights you are attacked by a pack of wolves who tear you to shreds and take all of your survival gear leaving you a bloody helpless clump but still alive and breathing and you have to crawl your way out of the wilderness having no sense of direction and no supplies and you come across a cliff and are posed with the decision to end your misery right then and there or prolong your suffering as you continue to drag yourself along in a desperate attempt to maybe, just maybe, find refuge.
