I got a 'DURGOD' one , because I had bought the same model a few yrs ago and it worked good. well this one worked fine for a few days and then started freezes/locks up all the time
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFR97LS

i got hella tired of that and bought a DIAHREAH brand one becauses it shipped quick and i wanted something same-day after the durgod fucked out on me, and thats what they had. and it double-presses on various keys fairly often. PS I didnt know it was DIAHREAH brand until i got it or i wouldnt have bought it.

I got a Keychron K8, this one has worked good. this is the only keyboard i have that isnt a fucked up piece of shit
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B5WFP9S

so i get a Keychron C1 today and it keeps spamming Q like theres a fucking ghost in the Q key.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YNQCQKR/

it really pisses me off because these are like 80 dollars a pop and literaly i should have just bought a used membrane keybaord for 5 dollars and it wouldnt have fucked me over or wasted my time. do i have to change the oil on the Q key or what man i literally have a bunch of fucked up shitty keyboards and i play musical chairs and switch the good one between systems. think i might buy a apple keyboard at least they dont sell broken shit

honesty none of it makes any sense literary i dont know anyone who when they buy keyboards, 75% of theyare keyboards are broken i feel retarded like im using it wrong, but i digressed! i have tried different cords, not going thru hubs and using different ports, different systems, different cords. they are legit fucked-up keyboards no matter which system or cord or hub i use or dont use

keychron ones actually look pretty nice

if the keys aren't responding properly maybe something got in them? take the keycaps off and clean the switches if you can

every now and then I take the keycaps off and put the whole thing in the dishwasher but you gotta make sure it's totally dry before you plug it back in again

actually don't do the dishwasher thing it's stupid come to think of it

looks like with the keychrons you can actually pop the switches out without desoldering? maybe make sure the Q switch isn't loose

these faggots shaped them so its tapered where you cant pull it with pliers

i jacked it off with a big screwdriver and it broke with one of the pins still in the board

the pins on the switch were soldered in ( maybe not that well if one of them ripped out of the solder joint) these guys are huge faggots im sending it back im gtetting tired of warehousing broken keyboards i will not be opressed any longer

doesn't actually say anything about removable switches but this picture implies it:

I'm using a logitech with the removable switches and they sometimes come loose and need to be pressed back in

just now you cursed my N key, the most important one of all

LOL really yours fucks up too? i dunno man im gonna keep buying them and sendiong them back until i get a good one i guess. msayvbe just start ordering like 4 at a time so i probably will get one good one

    ner vegas African Astronaut
yeah I figure it's because the switches aren't soldered in. never had a problem with the 60%kit I soldered myself or the coolermaster one that doesn't have removable switches
  15. #15
A College Professor victim of incest [your moreover breastless limestone]
the switch wont go back in im gonna rip the other pin off
  16. #16
    ner vegas African Astronaut
if one pin's come off that switch is fucked anyway

see if you can pull one off a bropen keyboard and use that

my other ones are different switch ( like red vs blue vs brown ) and idk if the pin arrangement/spacing is the same. i dont really want a bastard keyboard and it looks annoying to disassemble to get to the underside so I can solder a new switch in.

these guys are fucking assholes for not just picking it up off the porch next time they come by. they make you take it to the shipping store.

all the cherry compatible switches have the same pin layout; the point of removable switches is to change from blue to red to brown or whatever if you want to

the only thing is if you change one of the switches that button's going to feel wonky to press compared to the others

are they considered 'removeable' when theyre soldered in tho?
  20. #20
    ner vegas African Astronaut
    no lol

you have to desolder them, but assuming you get the solder off the pins and make sure they're straight you can put the same switches into a keyboard with removable switches
