For hypothetical sake, let's assume they won the war. The world is now dominated by Nazi Germany. They are building an empire. They have zero use for dead weight. If you are seen as weak, gay, uneducated, spiritual, or worse, you are on the chopping block immediately, followed by anyone who isn't white and blonde haired and blue eyed, although, they'd take shit eyes and shit hair if you can prove your lineage back to the 1200s and later.
ANYWAY, I am getting off topic. OK, so Hitler won. We're now in servitude to Nazi Germany. How are you useful to the Reich?

I don't have anything on the specific reasoning behind it but my guess would be that it's harder to break your oaths and that you'd be less afraid to die -

yea, that makes sense to me. i would think the non-violently sociopathic portion would need to believe they were working towards some greater good or at the behest of a higher power to justify to themselves why they were helping commit mass torture/genocide on a daily basis (did they get weekends off?). its just really obvious to me that this had no actual basis in anything resembling morality, even if they all got together and decided to believe that it was. -
