the main thing with western schooling (and most things) nowadays is that meritocracy is dead; success in schooling is less to do with capability and achievement and more to do obedience and conformity to doctrine.
this leads to entire generations of people who think that they'll be successful as long as they play by the rules and do as they're told (by similarly useless people), as well as a smaller group that thinks the only way to be successful is to exploit them. it leads to a population that produces nothing, the people themselves a resource that's constantly whittled down by predators and scavengers
in case it's not clear, schooling in general has been feminised to prioritise consensus-seeking over competition
i dont typically associate consensus seeking with femininity. maybe in past generations it was that way but as far as i can tell i see a lot of men who submit themselves to that sort of mentality (and then who are subsequently held up by "everyone" as some sort of model of masculinity to be emulated).
i think as far as what you are saying about education, that has been a thing for a while now but i also think that the american mentality in general is just dumb as fuck from being made lazy and soft by living decades in easy times where people have basically been coddled. with the success of past generations and all of our thinly veiled imperialist escapades overseas, in addition to the internet/social media, we have the means to focus so much on image and ourselves and what other people see on the surface, and we put a lot more weight on that then in the past, and it creates a situation where people can appear to be well while really they are rotting or stagnating and this is why you have rampant social problems and degeneracy is the norm.
i cant even really get into it more without just sounding like im complaining but just look at the shit people do. "its ok for me to do this and even call you out for the same thing BECAUSE i am in a situation where a bunch of people will back me up and even if its totally hypocritical, it doesnt matter, because the actual morality doesnt matter at all, just what people see or think about it"
or you see people who you think live by some sort of morality or personal code or something and then as soon as theyre in a situation where it becomes socially acceptable to put those morals aside theyre throwing that shit away like it was some dogshit. there is no substance to them, their convictions are easily blown away by the wind. i dont think that has anything to do with association with either gender though, because i know women who arent that way at all. its just the result of mental degeneracy and toxicity and probably is just natural selection acting on a larger population in a new way due to everything being so connected from technology etc these days. -

do you remember back in the days of the iraq war and the beginning of afghanistan, people would always joke like 'MERICA, FUCK YEA and even though it was in a joking matter (even though its only funny if you are in a position where you dont really understand what that means for other people because you happened to be born on the winning side) it was like this thing of celebrating ignorance and military might and how awesome we are for just kicking ass overseas and being so strong nothing could touch us. i saw that back then and it was very obvious where that kind of thinking would lead and it was the same shit with that. people would laugh it off and 10 years later were being chased out of afghanistan with our tails between our legs, the entire population is soft as fuck and dumb ignorant degenerate idiots whos ideas about reality are based on illusion and movies and they dont even understand why thats not desirable -
2024-01-27 at 8:08 AM UTCheres a perfect example. when i was in school for engineering my school was like half chinese half american. everyone there was serious about education but the americans all had this attitude of "lol this is so hard its crazy i just wanna finish this so i can go chill." or "lol that final was so hard im really depressed now gonna go binge netflix omg fml" while the chinese kids mentality was more like "i need to be the best i can possibly be at this for myself, my family, and my country even if it means making insane sacrifices."
and the americans are so wrapped up in their egotistical bullshit they think its a joke when you tell them their grandchildren will be speaking chinese (maybe not literally, but figuratively for sure you get the point) -

from my experience real men usually dont cut other real men off conversationally unless they think the other party sounds like a woman.
