Why is Weed seen as a young person thing?

A lot of the people I talk to say that weed is a young person thing. Is it because of how bad pot smells and once you aren't a young adult anymore youd rather just have a couple of beers and not smell like weed?

I do know a good amount of people older than 35 that smoke weed/ use weed products. Helladamnleet for one he smokes concentrates like a mad man.

I know many older people now who use cannabis in some form or another, more than I was ever aware of before and especially since it's become legalized and more accessible in so many areas...not sure I follow? Even my Biden voting bleeding heart liberal drug hating mother who is almost 70 eats gummies and wears transdermal THC patches now.

Growing is most certainly the way to go for so many reasons like you mentioned but I've found that the dispo prices are becoming much more competitive than ever before. The one where I go has consistently had 14 grams of 20-35% flower for about $75 after tax. A bag of random untested stuff on the street here would be like 100-150 for the same weight.

Concentrates aren't even bad anymore, I can usually get .84 gram disposables that clock in around 80% for as low as $35 sometimes.

Dispos are going to go the way of big tobacco anyways, a few companies that monopolize the majority of the market and lobby congress to cut out independent growers and entrepreneurs.
