This is one of my biggest pet peeves for some reason, when people do this I get a knee jerk reaction where I get filled with anger. It's gotten to the point where I don't even try to "roll with it" I was getting liquored up at a bar early evening after getting off work kinda early and this girl comes up to me and ask if she can sit with me, I tell her yeah thats cool. She introduces herself and tells me how she's new to town and I tell her who I am as well. I ask her so what do you like to do for fun and she replies with "whats your definition of fun??" And I just lose it on the inside, I say " Are you really that dumb that you can't answer a simple question?" and she says "seriously?" and I say "see you just did it again" and she says "fuck off" and leaves.
I know it wasn't chill of me to be that way, but it's annoying when people claim they "want to get to know me" yet because they are so insecure about giving an answer I may not like / or are very boring people they stall and the conversation becomes me pulling teeth for an answer.
I also don't like when you ask someone what they've been up to and they say "nothin' much" It doesn't really give me anything to go on. So what have you been doing just staring at the wall drooling?
I work with this guy, who's a huuuuge edgelord and talks mad shit to everybody (im new so I treaded lightly because I was out of my element) Anyways, I've managed to throughly zinger this guy a couple times and both times it ent up with him flipping out in front of everyone and making himself look very uncool. Just the other day this girl comes in and says hi to him (they obviously knew each other from the past) and he pretends like he doesn't hear her and acts all weird and stressed pretending like she's not there. She tells me "he's ignoring me" and I say yeah he is haha.. she says "im glad you noticed that too"
anyways when she's leaving she finnaly gets his attention and he acts all weird and is like " Oh hey sorry didn't see you there, I was in the zone" and I say to myself "haha in the zone..., what a goober" and everyone starts laughing and he flips the fuck out and starts yelling at me to never talk to him again (he's started similar shit with me before to try and embarass/discredit me, plus I wasn't even talking to him)
After all of this he starts acting really nice to me, I bent over to grab something and he walked by and patted my ass and I was completely caught off gaurd, and he was like "good hussle bud" as if we are on a football team in the zone.
Im 28 years old and I have very little tolerance for trying to figure out what people want from me, whats their motivation.
