There used to be lots of them, before the Bolsheviks took over. Nobody bothers making good threads, because everything is just Spurious Generalities and such now. Nothing would stay on topic, because there's practically no moderation in a socialist fishbowl. -

No, this has been been going on way before DH-ers got here. There was a Totse war going on for years between two factions: the socialists and their anything goes policies and those who desired a more focused, subject-based, on topic format. The socialists won in the end, and this place is the result. None of the subject-based, on-topic posters are going to make any threads here, because they would just get shat on and nothing would be done about it. The head Bolshevik even admits, to this very day, that he would "err on the side of doing nothing", regarding moderation of content/non-content. -
