    also what? this is an external Hard drive USB type. and older one. it got locked. old USB Mini with that weird shape connector only dashcams seem to use these days.
    
    it's locked. it just clicks and I got a one time message saying it was locked and never got it again. it just clicks.
    there is some hole in the back of the device that reads something about a lock key? someone apparently placed one in it. I never got one with the purchase of the device. I guess its a secondary old type of security measure? sorry Im not an expert in hardware.
