    Today is the day I go to TORG in Columbus Ohio.
    I've never been before and don't know what to expect.
    My friend messaged me earlier this week with a link to it and he said he was going so I immediately bought tickets.
    Looking forward to a fun day of nostalgia and weirdos.

    We made it to TORG.
    It was so incredible.
    Everything was awesome and we loved every minute of it.
    Spent $600 - $700. Next year I hope to double if not triple that amount.

    And I opened the genesis. It was an old fucked looking one stuck in plastic.
    I plugged it in and got no video output from it.
    Disappointed I smacked it and I must have smacked it a bit harder than I did when I was 7 because now it won't even turn on. At least I got a dirty old box and a bunch of games I can't play. Going to throw it in the closet with my x486 that also doesn't work.
    And my tattoo looks annoying to me. The guy said he would add shadow to it but now my mushroom just looks like it has been out drinking all night.

    Oh and on the way there I accidentally hit the emergency button on my phone and it called 911 while I was AT THE FUCKING BANK. I should have taken that as a sign when God has me dialing 911 at the ATM.

    I've only been able to get 2 games to even come up on the screen/have any sound.
    I've concluded the rf cable is fubar and the power supply is jank too.
    Also one of the controllers is shit.

    Luckily there is a fantastic little store nearby called Vacuums and Video Games which just so happens to have everything I could ever need/want.
    I'll stop by there later and pick up some new parts fo sho.

    Also I believe the box is for a gen 2 or gen 3 console yet the genesis I got in the box was a gen 1.
    The model number tells me it's a gen 1 but the discrepancy is the gensesis on the box says High Definition on the console and I don't believe that's a gen 1 console.
