2023-11-05 at 8:08 PM UTC^ Not Egypt but probably the same concept.
Egypt knew this but didn't want to fuck up the mystery that brings in all of the money from tourism -
2023-11-05 at 8:20 PM UTCMany ancient structures undergo restoration from conservation groups and sometimes that involves modern reinforcement techniques, including rebar reinforced concrete. Without knowing where or what this structure is I can’t tell if that’s the case here, or if the image is just fake.
But no the pyramids or any other ancient structures were not made by poured concrete with rebar… -
2023-11-05 at 8:20 PM UTCWhy would the aliens use concrete????

It was actually suggested even by some of the archaeologist that it seems to be cut stones but they may have mastered a pour into a mold box and used aggrogate which actually made it easier to polish as well. its just sand, bits of granite or marble (which marble is a form of granite that si polished?) and then some kind of glue/cement they could have known to create.
the problem with Egypt is they don't want Westerners scratching into their precious stones because they are really superstitious people. plus they know if you solve the mystery and it was something with a fairly simple answer explaining it then tourist would go "oh fuck that. why go that far blah blah" and go to Las Vegas and stay at the Luxor instead.
vegas is gross btw. I didn't win shit there -

2023-11-05 at 9:36 PM UTCI think you’re getting confused there is evidence of ancient civilizations using concrete like materials, but absolutely nobody was using rebar

it may not of been steel or iron. but what is so difficult to think they didn't understand those principles and made it from bronze
they may have understood how to fuse elements together and create a composite like metal material -
2023-11-05 at 10:17 PM UTCNo known ancient civilization used rebar. If something like that was found it would be a major archaeological discovery and there would be no reason to suppress it. So go look up some archaeology database and find me a research paper that proves such a finding exists. Otherwise shut up. All you have is a single pic you found on the internet that proves nothing. For all you know this picture could be from a Syrian shopping mall…

Do you know for sure the pic is authentic and depicts an ancient rebar reinforced column? Did you take the photo? Were you there? -
2023-11-05 at 10:23 PM UTCAnd yeah I know that for sure because I said no “known” ancient civilization used rebar. If they found one that did I wouldn’t have a problem with that. But they haven’t.

steel rebar wasnt invented until the 1800s
masonry has used some sort of internal reinforcement for centuries. horsehair...reeds...wattle...etc
