got called out on my price hike on the butter job at the condo's so I counter offered at half the price hike and he accepted.
I knew it was to much of an increase when I quoted the jib but I was stoned and going for it just to see.. I been worrien bout it for 3 days and he finally contacted me and requested a better price and I knocked 1 buck a sq ft off the bid that equaled 2000 bucks I woulda loved to have but its better than not getting the job,, my other 2 jibs one is a slow jib the contractor isnt ready for me to paint it so I could only prime it and the other job was sheetrock that he added to 2 times and I had to tell him no to the additions as I'm a painter not a sheetrock guy,, and I could do the ceilings but didnt want to do the walls cuz I'm not good enough to do wall to ceiling joints or corners and right now the ceiling has trim at the edges where it goes from sheetrock ceilings to concrete walls,, its still gonna suck and only pays 2500 so this roller coaster just keeps on going up and down.
