I was at the grocery store today and I stepped off to the side in one of the open areas to send a text message..
So I’m standing there texting and this lady comes up to me and says “ you look like a little baby doll standing there on your phone “
🥹
Idk I just like compliments from women more than men..

I do have a very innocent look to me ..because I’m a sweetie pie …
So y’all see what I wore for the Halloween party at work ..
I just had on that orange tutu with my orange flower in my hair and I wore that Lae …
I didn’t know what the hell I was ..I just was putting on stuff
But at the party this lil girl pointed to me and said MOANA!!
And when I say my heart melted ..it literally melted …
She looked at me and thought of MOANA 😭
And so my silly azz… I’m like YES! Im MOANA 😂😭💓

The Dogon people discovered the existence of Sirius B, which is invisible to the naked eye, before any other known culture.

Also before any type of telescope had been invented.

Yeah I only knew about it cuz I read a conspiracy one time they got the knowledge from ancient aliens or whatever, which I don’t believe.
There’s also some speculation they may have been exposed to western astronomy around the end of the 19th century during a European expedition to view a total eclipse in the region, and given the importance of the star in their culture and these people having brought telescopes with them, there may have been an exchange of knowledge during that time. Then retroactively some anthropologists decades later found out about the Dogon people and wrote they knew about it since ancient times. But they might have just learned about it from white people lol.
I don’t know the answer. Regardless though the point was they have a rich history of astronomy and stargazing, as do many other African cultures. Much of that knowledge was destroyed or contaminated by western influences during the colonial era… which leads some people nowadays to believe they never had such knowledge in the first place

Yeah unless the Dogon have early carvings or drawings then it's all speculation about when they knew about Sirius B.
