I drink coffee when I wake up and take diphen as sleep aid. I'm gonna go without either for a while and see if I feel any better.

if you normally have a lot of caffeine you might start getting headaches that won't go away, but I don't think diphen's addictive in any sense. as an aside it's a fairly mild sleep aid unless you're eating half a box so it probably won't be difficult to stop

Makes you feel like shite in the morning though

it's never done much for me... I think it actually makes me more restless even though it clouds my head, and I've tried doses from what's on the box to spiderheaven-level abuse
Doxylamine was a little more effective but I'm guessing first-gen antihistamines just aren't terribly effective on me then.

yeah, they both work the same way, most people find doxylamine to have less side effects though. weird.

I used to take diphen as a sleep aid because I had to share a room with a group of people that didn't work and had no consideration for anyone that had to get up at 6 in the morning
I eventually got up to 300mg/night before the side effects became too much.
Withdrawal from that is like having every seasonal allergy ever pretty badly for like 4-5 days. It sucks.

aldra ruined the spiderheaven joke I had prepared. *waves fist*
