I got gifted an original nintendo dsi (xl) yesterday but it's only really got the brain train games so I've gone down a massive old games rabbit hole and ordered mario kart ds and the mario 64 remake that they did and I'm just getting giddy thinking about it...
Almost tempted to buy a n64 and other stuff...
Also started looking at modded psvitas and they seem pretty good for £200 with all the emulators....be good to play resident evil 3 handheld...ahahah

Back in my school days I once swapped my n64 with this kid for his playstation1 cause it had a shittonne more games than I did and I thought I got the better deal at the time but looking back I got the shitty end of the stick....I mean who would trade goldeneye and mario kart plus Diddy Kong racing and other quality games for a shitty PlayStation which only really had Final Fantasy and the resident evil games going for it...?

i have a crappy lappy and a nintendo fleshlite but the nintendo hurts my thumb and makes it 'catch' / click from getting all gimped up so ive hardly used the thing
also i spent some money i dont have ( i used my big American penis voice and said OoooOoh, I know! ILL USE MY CREDIT CARD on a rare chinese gamer lappy which has cleared customs and is now in pennsylvania. that will be nice cause then i can play 7d2d at full res and not have the game freeze up all the time and wut not
yeah i wanna get a n64, an everdrive, an a crt to tard out like way back when
i stayed up all night and i want to get some american or mexican food but literally nothing good to eat opens till 7AM here honestly it doesnt make any sense. lower cost of living places like bakersfield and wichita literally they have real food restaurants that open at 5 or 6AM that arent junk-trash-chains.
oh well i guess ill just grease my Tight-Sack ( #LilSportysHomeLife ) for the next hour

I have a gamecube but literally the only game for it is melee from back before slippi was a thing.
Never owned an N64 but I played the ever living shit out of the big titles (and some of the small shit ones too) on an emulator.
IDK, I get plenty nostalgic for games I enjoyed in the past, but I've never had any particular nostalgia around the hardware. Like the OG N64 controllers kinda sucked, the sound of a PS1's disk drive is grating, etc. I'm just glad there are active emulation projects so we can enjoy actual games into the future, not the implementation details.
