A 13-year-old boy has admitted causing the death of Sheffield foster carer Marcia Grant by dangerous driving.

Marcia, 60, was killed after she was hit by a car on Hemper Lane, Greenhill, in the early hours of April 5. Police were called tot the scene and Marcia was pronounced dead. She has previously been described as "much loved" and a "kind and generous lady."
As he made an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, the teenager entered a guilty plea when the charge of causing death by dangerous driving was added to the indictment. Prosecutor Mark McKone KC told the court that plea was acceptable to the Crown.
Apprarently the story goes she was looking after some 12 year old foster kid who stole a car and drove over her, gets out and says “looks like I got my first kill”. -
