Lil Sporty could have just sat back and lived out his last decade or two in unimaginable luxury, secure in the fact that he was the man who (on paper at least) brought TOTSE back from the brink and made it a strong and respected (or at least feared) bbs. Redferb likely would have dissolved on its own out of a sense of malaise, DFG would still be stuffing money into his pockets to feed their addiction to cheap RCs, and China would still see Russia as an equal partner in overturning the Western-led global order, rather than as a gas station.
We haven't seen such a colossal geopolitical mistake since Operation infinityshockrates.
