    no i'm getting GAMER score points for some shit I never signed up for and was forced upon my MINECRAFT account I don't give two fucking shits about microsoft and OH BOY A $5 CARD TOO BAD IT COSTS $5.99 FOR A FORTNITE SKIN AND PROBABLY COSTS $6.99 MINIMUM TO BUY ROBUX so I save a whopping 0$ when you factor in tax it's just a fucking customer sink

    a couple of years ago DBD released a code for 101 'shards', but all the cosmetics you can buy are priced in increments of 100

    You mean $6.

    The use of in game currencies is used cos people are much less likely to spend actual cash.

    This also applies to the use of credit cards vs physical cash, and fiat currencies vs metal stores of value.

    If people were paid with gold and silver they'd be less likely to spend so easily.
