just got done up in Larimore ND harvesting 36 rows of potatoes by hand with my nigga JED of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints lol. Nah he just happens to be a member but that's not how I know him, he's just a co-wo. Super hard worker, good dude all around. The job fucking sucked ass today especially since my knee is kinda still fucked up from a mishap last week, but nonetheless I HAMDLED business and we cranked it out. Perk of getting paid for 3 hours of travel time as well as per diem accommodations for lunch and dinner.
We'll be back to machine harvesting on Thursday which is far less taxing but still a lot more physically demanding work than I'm used to, and it takes all my strength to lift 75-lb sacks of potatoes especially by the end of the day.
After harvest is done in a few weeks we'll be GRADING potatoes which is in a nice air conditioned building and is far less physical labor, just really repetitive but whatever.
