Actually he’s laughing as hard as Sophie is at the spectacle you’re making of yourself. You got played & ghosted…face it. Sophie never shared any real PI with you … he just laid down the bait and you took it. You can’t really call it grooming because you’re too old. He never shared anything that was real or self incriminating, just stories he knew you’d lap up like the desperate dog you are.
You demonstrated you were the perfect hook- considering everything about you says ‘I’m a victim’
You threw open the door yourself with your constant self deprecating declarations here - you see, when a girl consistently says she is unhappy being herself - enter Irma - you pretend to listen intently as she describes her low self esteem and how self conscious she is…..she complains about her looks - her life. The dialogue goes a little something like this;
"I have a hard time believing you look that bad, you seem so upset, what's wrong"
I feel like i should be a boy, I have a lot of masculine traits, I look like my father.
"So you're saying you don't like the way you look"
I guess...
"It sucks that you feel that way, why don't you send me a picture and i'll tell you if I agree with you, I doubt I will though"
You spend the necessary time reassuring her it's not embarrassing promising you won’t break her confidence in you and share her pictures with anyone- typically with someone as naive and easily manipulated with empty compliments about her intelligence and beauty, based on pics she’s already posted she’s eager to trust you.
If she sends the pic and for some reason you agree with her evaluation you promise you won't share it, because sharing it with anyone would mean you couldn’t be her friend you continue to reassure her the only thing you really want from her is her friendship.
You tell her you feel like you already know her pretty well, there’s a definite ‘connection’ between the two of you…..she agrees so you figure might as well treat her as a friend, this is how trust is established.
This is obviously for the purposes of having a secret in common and lays the groundwork for her having a special relationship with you, it starts it with a declaration of friendship, you want nothing more than her ‘friendship’ it’s not an offer because you already feel a bond developing between you. Meaning to reciprocate appropriately, if you were a good faith actor, she must now open up to bonding as friends with you.
You get what you wanted to begin with, turn the tables and find a reasonable excuse to tell her that her behavior or attitude is the reason you’re abandoning her…easy enough because her self esteem is solely based on others opinions of her, she believes she fucked up somehow and typically will either throw a tantrum or beg for forgiveness.
Of course you can’t possibly foresee the fact that she’s so codependent, shallow and desperate for a connection now that she’ll carry on with drunken coked out ridiculous threats for almost a year. Despite the fact you’ve only communicated for a short period and never even seen her in person she’s desperate, clingy, and convinced she’s ‘in love’ with you.
Irma- it’s time to move on…Sophie’s done with you and this insanity is only an embarrassment to yourself. You’re thirty years old …..too fucking old to be acting like a five year old who had her doll stolen. Grow the fuck up and move on.

I think friend is a strong term for Lanny and Sophie’s relationship but sure.
You haven’t been here long enough. Lanny isn’t petty he has a strict code of ethics for how he runs this place. He wouldn’t remove anything for anyone. Maybe Lala but still doubtful or he’s do it very quietly. -

The policy is that I don’t go and spy on other people’s PMs in the same way they can’t look at mine or each others. If you send a PM specifically to me then I have no qualms about making that public because it’s something every other poster has the option to do.
Now I typically wouldn’t, but the combination of you trying to threaten me and my girl, and the sheer level of cringe, doesn’t exactly incline me to extend that courtesy to you.
