even in California (not coastal) you have deep racism too. Mountains here are as redneck as the deep south is. Sierras has this. but you now have a bunch of liberals from San Francisco who moved up there so Red counties turning Blue.
That’s the other thing, I live in the Deep South now and it’s actually less racist than places like NYC or SF. Like people make comments about other races and indulge in stereotyping and shit, but they tend to treat everyone the same despite their differences. But up north where everyone is stacked on top of each other in every major city, lot of people are just openly racist as hell -

Yeah lol, it’s like the south is actually somehow a more integrated society than pretty much the rest is the country. I guess because there’s less of an economic divide, but I basically didn’t see black people in SF unless they were homeless. -

it's probably as simple as people being less concerned about what their neighbours do/who they are when they don't have to constantly compete with them for space and status -
2023-09-23 at 2:26 PM UTCAlso Indians are interesting, idk, I guess the thing that often gets lost is how big India is and how ethnically and culturally diverse it is. Like yeah, Indians hate Pakistan, but they’re pretty racist against each other too. Maybe part of that is that the Indians you see in the US represent a fairly narrow spectrum of Indians. Although it’s kinda strange because we have all these “pajeet poo in the loo” memes but most the Indians you run into here are from middle or upper class backgrounds, and don’t fit the stereotype.

I agree, been all over this country. Blacks and whites been living next to each other 100s of years in the south so we know each other. In Appalachia we never had plantation culture and most whites where as poor as the blacks.
I'm the last generation to remember segregation with separate schools and city pools. I don't ever remember anyone going out of their way to say racist shit to blacks, honestly my mom would have beat my ass disrespecting someone especially old people no matter their race. -

He has no real world experience outside of his small west coast bubble. The only things he knows about other areas of his own nation is that which the talking heads in the magic box have told him over the years. -

They’re all former slave states, isn’t that the whole critical race theory schtick. I hope to god whoever said that isn’t white. Anyone who walks around with that much white guilt should just kill themselves if they’re that upset about their heritage -

San Francisco racism is sadly veiled as opposed to open. The reason I say Open is it is easier to stay away from people who are racist and you can keep an eye on them.
a good example is the wealthy neighborhoods of Billionair row, Presedio, Pacific Heights etc have BLM posters in Windows yet these people don't want urban behavior in their neighborhoods or Black people in general if they had an option to chose.
It's even a bigger issue in Oakland and Berkeley Hill communities where they have these signs in windows and lawn signs of BLM and yet you see very few Black People living up in these areas. Black people today have acquired a lot of wealth but they're clearly is a secret code by real estate people. Kensington is a classic example (a wealthy neighborhood annex in Berkeley but has its own private "CUFFS" police force.
I picked up a lovely lady who (Person of Color) told me how much cold shoulder she gets when trying to have conversations with others while they seem to have either an all Jewish or all white clique going on. those were her words. they fear blacks will target their homes in the event of a sudden Urban Civil War. this happened before George Floyd. they talk the talk but don't want to bring people into their true tribe. it's all a fucking act. -

Fuck you asshole retard. first off I have been across the country a few times. through the deep south, and the east coast multiple times. Up to New England. Only state areas I didn't go to was North Dakota and Wisconsin but we went up into Illinois and even Indiana was a first stop to dropping off Office Funriture for a Store that purchased out of silicon valley (I worked for a Moving Van company in my teens during the summer months)
I never lived in these states but I have had much interaction with others.
as for San Francisco. it's an International Zone just like NYC or London etc. its a port city and I have had friends from all over the US and World. I am more cultured then your little hick flyover states you have lived in.
You're comical as fuck. -
2023-09-23 at 9:01 PM UTCI never lived on a farm but I have farmed for weeks both in California and helped out in the south as well.
I never owned a horse but I know how to properly tack and saddle a horse and clean and feed them and clean their stalls (got a job a few summers at Golden Gate Fields in Emeryville/Albany)
I helped rebuild through a summer program of building a hay loft and bailer.
I'm not fucking stupid. suck my dick, BITCH FAG -

Traveling through or visiting don't mean shit retard. You have to live, work, and play with people to know who the truly are. You don't know shit about anything outside your 15 minute bubble jack. -

Here, this actually relates. Do you know why the Filming Industry which actually began in the USA in New Jersey moved to California? because of the physical diversity of the state. deserts, rocky mountains, oceans, coastal fog, marsh land.. etc etc etc.
the entire world exist in California. I don't need to travel outside with the exception of it being over populated now. but that's sadly everywhere with 8 fucking billion people.
Do you seriously believe that Arizona is far more CULTURED than California? the amount of cringe from your statement like you're some fucking GLOBE trotting traveler is hilarious.
"I used to live in Ohio then moved to Florida then Texas then Arizona" and la de la da.
and i'm not putting down those states but it's 2023 not 1920. it's a fucking carbon copy of each other with the exception of pocketed towns here and there
