Yes they bombed villages and did some wild shit in nam' but compared to Iraq where American troops brutalized the local population THAT's why vietnamese is still communist and Iraq is a totally different world with all their movements pushed far underground
Vietnam war protests vs Modern American "ILL KILL ANY MOSLEM I SEE" because they are brainwashed by the media lmrao ggggggggggggg

I mean every communist society has capitalist style markets but Vietnam is pretty fucking communist
like their state owned rice production quotas, idk that just seems very socialist but maybe that's how Asians made communism work for them as true communism isn't the absence of capitalist markets but supposed to be the evolution of them
-
2023-09-23 at 3:45 PM UTCWars today are limited, most are just to try to get your guy in power so your companies can have access to their resources. Does anyone here actually believe Ukraine would still be around if Russia mobilized and went total war on their ass.

Russia doesn't have the manpower needed to do this. They are already implementing total warfare tactics, IE destroying electrical infrastructure and such. Good idea considering Ukraine gets cold as hell in the winter. -

they switch the power off every time a new batch of western weapons comes in to make it more difficult to transport them
lol@ total war, if they were anywhere near that they wouldn't be holding 80%+ of their standing military in reserve -

2023-09-24 at 8:06 AM UTCPoland is no longer sending weapons and is blocking Ukrainian grain from entering their market
-
2023-09-24 at 8:13 AM UTCPeople think it's because they don't want to support one side anymore and that they are pissed about the grain but I think that's all smoke and mirrors and they are actually realizing Russia probably isn't gonna mobilize again
they will just consolidate what they have and then the next obvious target is Polane so they are like OH SHIT WE NEED THESEDuring an interview with the Polish TV channel Polsat News, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was asked if he could guarantee that Poland would continue to support Ukraine despite the grain dispute.
He replied that the country would no longer be transferring any weapons to Ukraine, because it needed to focus on arming itself "with the most modern weapons."
Get yer storm shadows and high mars before it's too late! -
2023-09-24 at 8:16 AM UTCI will be relocating my plans to open a explosives factory from Poland to Lithuania
-
2023-09-24 at 8:21 AM UTCit's because they've gotten nothing positive out of it and are not confident that Ukraine can claw back any territory, let alone 'wins the war and retake Crimea.
it was fine when they were just offloading old Soviet weapons but now they're out and have the option of sending newer gear or keeping it for their own use.
they've realised 'refugees' fleeing the war are useless and costing the government a huge amount of money to keep housed and off the street
they wanted the cheap grain out of Ukraine but it's very poor quality and in some cases toxic, and the government is now facing disapproval from farmers who don't want grain prices driven down
