What was the yellow putty amphetamine we used to get 20 years ago?

Would the yellow in it be something to bring down the quality or what?

yellow is a mellow color yes it is because that means you didn't fuck up actually and you actually made p2np from RANDOM DOMESTIC SOURCE CHEMICALS which is one step away from reduction to amphetamine
it can also be orange
idk what you gotta do to get the yellow to stick around though usually it turns black/green/metal/blue and then black again and then fuel colored and tinged yellow/orange/black until you clean it up. I've never seen raw colored amphetamines that weren't dyed, I don't even know how to isolate the final product without removing the color :S
stuff like mdma seems to come PURE in every color as just a byproduct of the synthesis but for any amphetamine I don't know why that would be the case at all. I suspect it has something to do with how they are making it, more specifically what they are using as source chemicals and what chemicals are used to reduce it

I know the culture of "speed" is different from here in the UK to America cause crystal meth never really took off over here, the Polish usually make the amphet in labs over here mainly.
It's all sweaty "paste" as I said...you never used to to get powder always the pastry stuff.
It was just something I was reminiscing about drinking my coffee this morning. -

except its usually more of a peanut butter color they call it peanut butter crank or base or gooey
