At this point it's costing them more overall to keep drugs illegal and pay for all the policing which is a good thing. The system in it's current state cannot go on like this, we can't afford to live this way and have people that could be good workers even if they are scumbags that blow their paycheck on drugs, why can't they do that? Why do they have to be a burden? It's sad.

I met a few people at my last job that were 100% getting high in the bathroom and I kinda felt bad for them because I wasn't on meth at the time and it just seemed pretty hardcore to be doing that and they were much younger than me too.

No you can't get ahead working at fucking KFC so learn a fucking trade.

My brother 7 years older and did get that good paying job out of HS and a nice retirement pension but shit changed before I started working.

So shove your boomer shit up your ass.

Then you got lucky, think of every opportunity you had in your life where you ended up making things better for yourself, now picture 10,000,000 other people who didn’t get that opportunity.

Again you have to work hard, and seize opportunities, I’m all for that and there’s a lot of lazy worthless people who don’t put in that kind of effort. But that doesn’t mean everyone who does, will succeed. There’s literally not enough resources or good-paying trade jobs available for that to be sustainable or even possible at this point.

You only think hard work pays off because it paid off for YOU. If you don’t understand this it’s because you lack an understanding of economics and basic statistics, just look up survivorship bias

Sure luck always involved in any thing. Look if you look at some of my old post I agree young people got it hard these days, one advantage older people had was affordable real estate. But the fact is nothing will ever work out hard work or not if they never try.

You assume I don't understand the reality of today, I have a 30 yo daughter and 2 18 yo sons. They have to work and pay for school because I don't have the money, lucky in TN you can go to 2 years of college or trade school basically for free. I can't count the number of young people I've tried to convince to go learn a trade for fucking FREE and they ain't got the time.

I don't think that's on any persons individual failings, there just isn't much avenue to do fucking anything anymore. I don't ever meet people interested in exploring technology or research or starting or business or even just joining my demoscene group or esports team

everyone is just chilling and laying flat and either makes enough money that their expectations for a lifestyle are met which does not include children or owning a home so they an live off nothing. Or they just engage in mindless hedonism like drug abuse or loot boxes in games.

I know lots of people that don't work and live off disability and just have no idea what to do with their lives and they are always bored of their games and the only thing in their life is waiting for new games to come out, maybe sometimes they work but it never seems to last it's not like they will suddenly devote themselves to the company.

And I also know lots of people that pretty much do nothing but grind at work and devote themselves to being a sales rep or whatever and I constantly feel like i'm being pulled by forces that want me to either become a robotic machine slave to the system or just do a dead end job stocking shelf at walmart or something for the rest of my life because I really have no desire to do anything for anyone at this point as far as exchanging my labor for $$$$ capital which I can use to pursue my own dreams and goals.

The days of working for a company and retiring with a pension are long over, I have no expectation there will be a safety net or oldje age thing even though i'm ENTITLED LIKE A SNOWFLAKE to it but they increase the age cap every 10 years so I've already written it off as a scam long ago. I think society will collapse long before I ever get a chance to get my money back that I pay into every time I draw a check

Yeah a trade or something anything, you should always be developing your skills at any age. Or at the very least becoming good enough with computers that you can use them in any modern workplace. There was a time in like 2012 when it seemed like every boomer had no idea how to use the internet or computers but since then every old fuck has a smart phone so my competitive edge is gone, I can no longer just coast by being the "computer guy"

i have explored many blue collar industries but i'm trying to switch to a white shirt myself and figure out some skillset to get a high paid tech salary and build a portfolio. I don't know anyone my age trying to learn new skills or anything, or very few at least. The ones that have a niche seem a lot better off.

I hate bouncing from place to place doing random jobs and desire a career at this point in my life and I think I only got to this point by working so much shitty jobs and hating them so I feel motivated to do so, people that spent their entire 20's not working I feel bad because they tell me to "get a job or go on welfare" like nigga I want a career you don't even know bunch of fucing high horses on disability calling me a drug attic

All the retirement funds are gone. They took all that money and illegally "invested" it, then "lost" it all. Now, they have to steal money from other sources just to cover the current monthly payments. Won't be long at all now before the checks stop coming altogether. All that's left now is a stinking rat race, run by real-life rats. It's now every man for himself; that's all that's left.

Yeah if your smart I'd try for a white collar job, you can do OK in the trades but some will destroy your body. Maybe I get a little testy getting lumped in with boomers when I never benefited like those just a little older than me.

I wish the best for all you guys. I don't have a jelly bone in my body and love seeing young people getting ahead and doing better than me.

yeah people are gonna be in for a rude awakening. Don't put all your trust in the system especially when it comes to drugs if you're serious one day those factories will close and the price will double and you will all be fucked. This is why I am trying to break the chains of capitalism and only deal with the real underground economy like crypto and el petro

fiat money and society economy has no value to me I do not consider it work. It's slavery. Welcome to the future.

when the homeless ask me for change i'm like "Bro, money is evil". be the CHANGE you want to see! they all think i'm skitzo.

I should mass print a shake and bake meth guide and give it out to them. They should be shoplifting pills and cooking their own product in da park, but they don't, or won't. I'm not going to be the one to lead a horse to water if they won't drink.

It's because despite being houseless and sleeping in a tent they are just as enslaved by the system as a person working a 9-5, I don't see any difference and I do not want to transact with either of them unless it's a straight up deal.

Even if I could make my own drugs I wouldn't want to sell it to anyone on the street or anyone trying to resell it either. I think you could make LSD cheap enough that you could give it away and it would pay for itself. idk, the only thing I have faith in anymore is the underground economy and I do not feel like the homeless population that steals mindlessly to feed a drug habit is part of the same economy as me.

Learn to make your own shit PUSSIES

cost of living is insane you could easily spend hundreds of $$$$ on food here in a week and you would not be full you would be eating like me, canned ramen, cheap bread, peanut butter and crackers. Do not even think about buying alcohol. Your choices are food, or booze. A lot of people just only buy liquor and steal food. Don't get a phone either, way too expensive.

If you DIY mechanical stuff it's affordable, my dad spent a few winters living in his car. He would put cardboard boxes on the windows to insulate the -40c blizzards he was very COZY

If I wanted a vehicle I would have to save up for a year which is why everyone is in tents here, plus the cost of gas i'm sure isn't good and it's almost winter. We lose about 100 souls every year just to the cold just like our nigga nile its hard out there in da streets folx

Really don't know how anyone survives homeless in that kind of weather. I know I pretend to be a heartless bastard here but I'm really a softy, the city could afford a couple heated warehouses with bunks for people to sleep in.

...and a hatch in the top of the warehouse to throw the Zyklon B through.

Up North here we find people frozen solid in the winter, stuck to fences, curled up and frozen outside doorways, frozen in their tents, frozen in their cars, they're like statues. -40C temps and high winds that no human body can withstand. If you're outside here, you die. Simple as that.
