Chevy Chase is right. it's so fucking predictable "Dial up" humor. it's just boring. once in a while a guest will make it really funny but 5/6 are stupid as shit. there is no comedy timing. no pause and punchline dropped.
it's supposed to be "modern sophisticated'. OMG STFU
one season was like this in the old SNL days. 1980. worse cast. Eddie Murphy saved it along with a couple other members. but it was just a bad lineup. this is how it is. Michael Day can be kind of funny but his timing with others is offset.

Yeah, Stupid funny. it was funny because it was a mockery of stupid crazy shit. but clever and creative. timing matters. this is a group of talented people with horrible timing. some of these people doing comedy live are pretty funny. but they don't try and make it click. something is fucking missing.
Why the fuck is keenan Thomas still hanging on? Retire and do some movies like everyone else. I think he doesn't have enough faith to leave the nest. he thinks he has it good here, why leave. LEAVE mother fucker. its time to fucking go.

does Canada still have SCTV? a modern cast of SCTV? they should. Second City is a good comedy troup. the original SNL was Second City and Upright Citzens Brigade. then some san Franciscan dude left Second City and formed Groundlings in the 80s and most members of SNL have come from there. not just SNL but Mad TV and In Living Colors.
or something close to that. but Second City was the original.
Canadians should revise a SCTV cast.

Also Second City was originally chicago but branched out to Toronto and I think i read St Louis but St Louis never produced anything big

SNL been shit for a long time, pretty much since the first few years.
