    I mean... I knew Sophie. Sort of. I mean, insofar as you can know a random security-conscious former moderator from a forum with an almost sacred place in your memories, I knew Sophie. So... not well, but like... I knew of him, I guess. Kind of hard to approach. I respected him too much. Even with the nonce stuff! That's not a deal breaker for me, so long as the nonce in question is non-offending. The heart wants what it wants, and sometimes what it wants is fucked up and can't be permitted to happen. If anything, that's tragic. So long as you "look but don't touch" though, I'm probs good with you - I ain't about policing thought crimes. Wariat tried to touch. Sophie just wanted to do things he knew he couldn't. Sophie is/was a good dude, at the end of the day. I think.

    Part of me kinda suspects he's alive, and he just got annoyed with us/this place and fucked off, since this nuance to pedo discourse in the community just... kinda... evaporated, over time. And Kafka was probs the nail in the coffin.

    So yeah, it's probably the case that I'm not interested in learning more about Piper. Do you want to know about little Ongwala? Or little Xiao-Mei? No probably not. Who gives a fuck about discovering more things about random kids? What are you, some kind of nonce?

    Look, even if I were to accept this for the sake of argument, that's kind of immaterial to the potential harms. You're touching on underage girls at weird Polish clubs. You're fucked up.

    Basically nobody should be having sex until their mid-20s. Even kid on kid is wrong - mutual rape, neither can consent to the other. The sensible solution is "no sex 'til your brain's properly cooked". It's just an extra layer of gross when someone with a (presumably) developed brain take advantage of that situation.
