In the same realm as watching paint dry. -
2023-09-06 at 3:58 PM UTCNah, watching some sports is as fun and can be more fun than playing it...soccer for example...I'd sooner be watching the world cup than playing on a pub team with my old fucked up knees.

2023-09-06 at 4:11 PM UTCAFL's probably the most interesting considering how much faster and more dynamic it is but I never got into it
followed NRL (Rugby with slightly different rules) for a while but after a while watching actual retards wetly slam into each other isn't that much fun

2023-09-06 at 4:55 PM UTCthe one in the middle reminds me a lot of a girl I was good friends with years ago, made out a few times but ended up dating other people. I added her on facebook when I was blacked out on zolpidem and she's married with kids now

another girl friend at the time dated a part abo for a little while, he was a shit
I remember on his birthday one time he got hammered and started slapping her or something then tried to go to bed so I dragged him out and stomped him. he didn't remember any of it in the morning and I don't think he ever found out why he was so fucked up or why a bunch of his stuff ended up outside.
he got accepted into uni on some aboriginal scholarship (he was only like 1/8 aboriginal) and they made a big deal about it, ran a bunch of stories in the uni newsletter and I think even a bit in the newspaper about 'aboriginal achievements'. he dropped out within two weeks to be a blackjack dealer -

So abos there kinda like our natives, a couple of drops of native blood and they can get all kinds of gov goodies. Here a tribe has to claim you to get on the gravy train.
I think natives in Canada get some good gov gibs. -

yeah I think the cut off is 1/16 but it's not like they can debunk you, just need to know enough about one of the major tribes if asked.
there's a referendum later this year for an 'aboriginal voice', they want to enshrine an aboriginal government advisory board in the constitution but it's still not clear what exactly that would even entail. someone published the list of things that aboriginal pressure groups want as part of it and it's pretty funny - stuff like total control over liquor licensing, aboriginals get access to university without fees or entrance exams, aboriginals pay 50% tax etc.
these are people that forced Shell to formulate a low-aromatic fuel specifically for the NT market because they would not stop sniffing petrol and chimping out, and I've posted the PSA videos about not sniffing petrol and not sleeping on the road at night before -

idk. maybe the prolonged absence of our resident knee girl caused my mental illness to act up and seek blackness and blackness substitutes.
on the other hand im also very interested with "native" populations.
theres always a lingering question in me that keep asking how do "native" people come to being ? were they separated when the earth was in its pangeatic stage ?
why do natives of central china and taiwan have so many things in common with the natives of borneo, an island separated by thousands of miles of sea from china ?
