When I ask the HARD HITTING questions like that, they get avoided with humor responses :)

I'll just keep asking it until obbe or spectral or speedy or Vinny give a serious reply to it.

I specifically want to know why spectral doesn't litter every chance he gets.

He'll probably tell me that he does.

he probably does, involuntarily, because he's insane

I suppose when you say enough loony bin stuff, you can also deflect to that. Kind of an "i wasn't serious I'm just trolling" meme thing.

I don't know anymore. I wonder why I even talk about anything ever. Does it even matter? no. probably not. its all just a form of entertainment right?

or maybe I talk purely in logical fallacies when I think I'm making good points. I try to approach things in a simple-minded aspect, like how a little kid would ask or think about something.

"If we don't care about the long-term aspects of anything we do, why do we throw our garbage away?"

I asked a question. I didn't say the word consequences. question answered with two questions.

your question was an inquiry of consequences of doing X.

Do you litter? why or why not?
  11. only inconsequential objects

    due to their inconsequences.
  12. mmQ Lisa Turtle
What's an example of that? help me understand.

the difference between a citizen and a civilian is that a citizen returns the shopping cart
  14. for example i throw used tissue into the drain when convenient, and because tissues are designed to biodegrade when mixed with water, my actions are inconsequantial.

i also simply throw ferrous objects and used motor oil into the bushes because they rusts and/or degrade and get absorbed into the soil where they came from.

i dont throw plastic bags around because they dont break down and could ended up clogging drains and sewers. thats consequence.

this is why I park right in the front of places I go. fuck them lines. I just pull up over the curb directly in front of the doors and get out. MY LIFE MY CHOICE.

why do you care about a clogged drain or sewer that could maybe happen? It could also maybe not happen.

a citizen is a civilian that approves of his life in the city.
  18. Originally posted by mmQ why do you care about a clogged drain or sewer that could maybe happen? It could also maybe not happen.

because i dont want to face the possible consequences.

is there not a possible consequence when you step foot outside of your house? you could possibly face the consequence of getting run over by a truck or take a stray bullet to the DOME. why do you step foot outside of your house? Risk reward? Why not risk throwing a stupid plastic bag out into the street? the risk is really low that it will impact your life.

    it's from Starship Troopers

a citizen is a person who is invested in the society he's a part of and willing to do things to contribute even if there is no immediate benefit to himself
