   nearly every year those lake beds fill up with at least a few inches of water. but it's summer so no one saw it coming. in the winter or just as snow melts those beds have as much as a foot of water yearly.
   
   so yeah, I agree. maybe cut the event a day before that storm comes in. they fucking knew it was coming
