A friend recommended it to me 10 years ago and I just finished volume 6 now. I still haven't read the Tokyo Ghoul manga I bought 10 years ago but anyway, what are your thoughts those who've read it?
I'm surprised I like it because I don't think it's for girls, but I think it's the honesty I like, it's a window into how men really are. I think this is why I like Mik even though he's psycho he's his true self with me. I also like the art style.
When the mangaka died I downloaded the whole thing since the closed torrent tracker I use set it to freeleech (in memorial - weird way of memorializing a nigga, letting people pirate it more easily when he's no longer alive to support family n shit, but weebs gonna weeb). But uhh, never read it, because the mangaka died and the story wasn't fucking finished.

Yeah, starting it today is kinda setting yourself up for a good cucking. It’s really good though. You could stop at the end of the golden age arc which is like actually just the prologue (but it’s probably half the actually published material) and have a reasonably tidy story. I mean you’d have like the whole actual story left out, but there’s not really major loose ends. The stuff after gets a bit more scattered, but there’s also some of the best artwork in the series there.

lol, really where did casca and donnyboy come from? I guess it’s harder to tell with the manga but everyone besides those two are pasty AF except the Arabs who ostensibly are not intermingling with dark ages Europe and even that wouldn’t explain big D

another bump, another reminder that after years of being on the boat we still won't ever get a conclusion
Never again will there be a manga so bold and daring as to make the protagonist merc 100 dudes cuz his warrior pixie gf was on the rag with cramps and couldn't run away. That's the real male mindset right there. "Oh shit, it's that time of the month again, guess I gotta do some inhuman feats, get chewed out by my boss, and not even get laid for my efforts"
